Our client is among the leading and fastest growing US metal fabrication companies. They are seeking a PERMANENT Production Manager for their facility located in Cheshire county NH. Position will manage Paint and Welding departments, must have metal fabrication background and experience with manual liquid and powder finishing applicatoins. With this direct hire, perm position, you will receive full benefits which include medical, dental, paid time off and 401k.

DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
- Directs and coordinates activities of 35 personnel engaged in production by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
- Responsible for preparing the production schedules, communicating those and enforcing adherence to those, to and by the department supervisors.
- Assures timely delivery of work orders to outside processing vendors and ultimately on time delivery of orders to customers. Included in this is authority to make schedule changes in any department including trucking schedules.
- Works with Warehouse manager to resolve delivery-scheduling conflicts.
- Creates schedules, assures department supervisors adherence to schedules, authorizes overtime/employee schedules and establishes priorities to solve scheduling conflicts.
- Analyzes current schedule and confers with the department supervisors, purchasing personnel and outside processing vendors when necessary to determine if customer order delivery dates can be met
- Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, start dates, due dates to vendors, due dates to customers and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.
- Follow ISO 9001:2000 procedures.
Working hours: Mon - Fri 6am - 3pm
Qualifications:
--Ability to read technical drawings
--Experience using a personal computer including data entry, word processing and spreadsheets.
--Manages the work schedules for production the department.
--Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit in matters of scheduling.
--Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
--Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
--High School/GED and a minimum 5 years of experience.
--Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
--Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
--Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
--Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
--Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
